Jayden Starr is one of the most consistent performers in porn. After jumping into the industry on a whim over a decade ago, she won over fans and studios alike with her bubbly personality and authentically hardcore performances. In this new interview, she discusses her latest lesbian scene, sucking dick, romance, and more.

Elegant Angel: You recently starred in a lesbian scene with the lovely Crystal Chase; can you tell me a little bit about that day on set?
Jayden Starr: You know what, it was really good. I’ve worked with the director LT a millions of times, a lot of it back when I first started, so it’s always a vibe when you get on set with with him. He’s a character. All the energy was perfect. I’ve been to the house a few times before, so I’m familiar with the owner.. So it’s always good to see people you haven’t seen in a long time, and it just brings you back.
Your nails are very long, very sexy. I have to know, do you have any tips and tricks for navigating around dick and pussy with those nails?
You know what, they just go with the flow. It’s kind of like when you have braces, you learn how to work with them. The longer wore them, the more I learned to incorporate them in everything I do in my everyday life. They just work with it. People tend to like they think that they’re sharp, and they’re gonna hurt. But no, they’re actually very soft and have more of a soothing type of sensation.
What was it like working with Crystal?
She’s cute and she got a lot of very good energy. She’s very well spoken. She’s not too all over the place, but she was just very bubbly and happy and free spirited. I enjoyed working with her. I really fell into the character with her. You know, sometimes you’ll meet different people on set and you have to make them adapt to you, but she just kind of fell into it with me. We just rolled together. We had a lot of fun.
What do you enjoy most about having sex with women?
Women know what women really like. We know not to be so rough with certain touches. Guys have to learn that, but women already know how to embrace the body. I like the gentleness of it the woman’s touch.
You play a very bossy boss in that scene, and you’re a business woman in real life as well. Do you ever have to like lay down the law when you’re working?
Most of the people I work with, I’ve known them for so long, so they already know who I am. But when I do meet new people, I think my presence just shows that I know what I’m talking about, I know what I’m doing. I need to let you know something I will, but most of the time, everybody I work with this vibes. I feel like we’ve all come in with a mutual understanding of what’s what. We’re working together.
Your Twitter says that you have an “oral fixation.” Can you tell me a little bit about that?
Honestly, I really just prefer to suck dick over anything else. Don’t get me wrong, I like having se, but I would prefer to just do oral. I’m really good at it. It’s my turn on. I just have an infatuation with it. I’ve like using my mouth. Guys are like What the hell? They’ve never met anybody like that before.
I mean, they shouldn’t be complaining.
But ya know, that’s just what it is. I just really I get a kick out of it. It’s my thing.
What’s your number one dick sucking trick?
People like what I can do, because I accumulate a lot of spit for some strange reason. Like my mouth is overly saturated. So I do this little spit sucking thing. I can make it lap in and out. In that video, at some point Crystal was on top of me and my mouth is just full of spirit. I was like, Okay, I have to figure out what I’m going to do with this and make it look sexy. We love it! Oh, my gosh. Okay, so you’ve been in the industry for 14 years, and things have changed a lot since you first got in. How would you like to see the industry continue to evolve and change in a positive direction?
Honestly, I feel more independence now. Before you would see the same girls getting shot over and over by those companies. They would shoot new girls, but the people that will stay consistently booked were the same girls over and over again. I didn’t feel like they were giving people opportunities.
But now more people are doing their own sites, and are able to go out and show more creativity and do things on their own. That’s what I really like about it. We needed that.
Back in the day, they made you feel like if you gained a little weight, or didn’t have a certain look, they didn’t want to book you anymore. But now they can’t say shit. I can be creative. I can wear the colors I want, I can shoot what I want, I can shoot upside down if I like to. That’s making the companies open up more, because they don’t have a choice. Now we have a more of a platform to stand on. The companies now have to ride the wave of the creators. Before we had to kiss their ass, but now I can show up however I want, and it’s making me money.
What kind of creative spin do you like to put on your own content? What do you like to bring that you think is unique?
I’ve always been very free spirited. I never had limits. Honestly, I think just being open like a you have to be open and insects. I’m not saying you have to do things that you don’t want to do, but you never know until you try, and I was always adventurous when it came to that. A lot of people are not as open as they could be, and they should try different stuff. Give it a shot. Try some handcuffs, let your hair down a little bit. It’s okay.
Your look has also evolved a lot over the years. Can you tell me a little bit about that journey?
You know what, the boobs just kept getting bigger. It wasn’t on purpose. I always had a cute, nice butt, but I decided I’m buying some tits, you know? And that’s what I did. I bought my first set of boobs. And it was horrible healing. I went from a little B cup to a D, and it was horrible. But I kept those for a little while, and then I kept seeing different changes and thought maybe I could go a little bit bigger.
And when I got my first set, I didn’t do much research. I just went to the doctor and got boobs, then I went the second time, and they were like, No, you can do this shape. You can do this size. So I did it again, and they were okay. I was happy. But I didn’t get much bigger from where I started, so it wasn’t much of an improvement.
And then I found this one doctor, he was just completely wild. I can just blow them up. They’re gonna look great. I’ll take them to the max. You trust me? I woke up and they were fucking huge. I went from a little 800 to 1600. Dude, they looked so good. Holy smokes.
Then I had capsular contraction, where one got a little harder than the other. I went in to get it fixed and the doctor offered to add more boob. So that’s how I ended up with 2000 CC’s. Listen to the damn doctor. Oh my gosh. Now I can’t fit any shirts, and I can’t go anywhere without people double taking at them.
They’re very eye catching, that’s for sure.
I just got back from Vegas. It’s three in the morning and there’s a bunch of drunk people, husbands and wives just sitting in the corner. They started to leave out and the guy said, Shit, that’s a fucking chest on her! Everybody looked because they didn’t know how I was gonna react, and I just started dying laughing. Like, yeah, they are pretty fucking big. He’s said, Those are the biggest tits I’ve ever seen.
I just laughed it off. People don’t really know how to approach it. I was hungry and hungover and I’m like, Yeah, they are pretty fucking big. You want to grab one? So the wife’s grabbing one, the husband’s grabbing one. He’s calling all his friends. Everybody wants to grab one. Everybody got a feel. I’m really inviting like that; if you want to take a picture when I’m herew, get it. Get it out your system.
Yeah, there’s a lot of that. They look great. You’re welcome. They’re a gift and a curse. But I’m not going any bigger.
What do you think makes for a great porn star?
I guess what I said earlier being open minded. Just because you do porn and become popular doesn’t mean people like you. Some of these girls are just unapproachable. They’re not friendly, really, in real life or on set. And that sucks. I feel like if you just go in and you be yourself, and you’re good to people, you’re sexy and you’re having sex for a living, this should just flow easily. I know how to turn it on and turn it off, but I give the same energy that I would give off camera and on camera.
You don’t have to be in love with the person you’re working with, but you have to work well with the them. I’ve been on set with people that I didn’t find attractive. I’ve been on set with people who didn’t have great hygiene. It shouldn’t happen, but it does, and it’s all in how you take it and go with the flow of it. I think that’s what makes makes a good movie. If you meet an actor and they’re a dick, you’re not gonna want to watch their movies anymore. If you give the same good energy to your costar to others, that’s great and I’m gonna want to watch you all the time.
For instance, I do FaceTime with some of my fans, and they’re like, Damn, you just he talked to me just like you doing when you’re filming. You’re just as nice and you smile all the time. Everything that you’re doing there, you’re doing right here, and that’s my one on one time with you. And they keep coming back because they realize that’s how I really am.
You could be nasty and sexy and freaky and do all the tricks in the world, but ultimately, it’s who you are as a person that’s going to keep companies and fans drawn to you for years.
If a lucky man or woman got a chance to take you on a date, what is the best way to romance you?
Oh, Skittles!
The littlest things make me happy. We could go to a freaking zoo and see the animals or just have a Slurpee somewhere. Conversation and laughter really get me. I like somebody that’s funny, and I like to listen. Tell me a story and I’m going to remember it always. I want to hear something about you. We could have a stroll up the street, and just happen to stop at the corner store and grab a soda or something and just keep walking and talking. I’m so simple.
I feel like I satisfy myself in so many areas, that if I can meet a person who just gets it, that would be the ideal guy. I don’t need you to take me out and spend 1000s of dollars on a steak dinner. I’m not really high maintenance, but I do expect a decent hearted person. You meet somebody, and you give them your time and your energy and conversation, and you find out if this is somebody that you want to continue see. So that’s what it is. It’s how you capture me, it’s how you talk to me. It could be anywhere.
A lot of people don’t realize that that’s simple things are so important. I’ve never dated anybody in the industry, and if I like some I know that I’m gonna have to tell them who I am. For most of them is not a deal breaker, but then they try to be extra when it comes to sex, or whatever it might be. I know what I do, but can we just be normal? You don’t have to perform for me. I just want to be a normal person. I want to make you like a taco or a meatloaf or something and watch a movie? I feel like guys are missing that now, because the world is so superficial at the moment.
You were at the gym before we got on out call. What does your workout routine look like?
Oh, gosh, my trainer is trying to kill me. It’s about 40 minutes of cardio before the workout, and then we work on specific areas. Today we did a lot of core exercises, then back to cardio for another 10 minutes. Then we’ll do about three sets of different exercises depending on the part of the body we’re working on that day. Then more cardio, and then I get to go.
I’m working on it because like every other girl I’ve tried lipo on certain areas that I didn’t like, and healing from lipo was a nightmare. Just because you have the money to do and it feels like an easy fix doesn’t mean that you should, because you still got to work out. You still have to maintain it and it doesn’t give you abs nice arms. So I started dedicating myself to a workout routine versus going to the plastic surgeon. I spend enough money on that shit.
This time around, I’m just gonna do good with food and whatever I’m putting in my body, and I’m working out more. I feel good when I wake up in the morning and throughout the day, because I have so much more energy. That’s the great part about working out so much. Nobody’s ever gonna be perfect or look as great in a bikini as another girl does. That’s all right. I feel good about it. I think that’s the great part about getting older and learning more about your body is accepting things.
What do you like to do in your downtime?
Be with my family and chill. I spend a lot of time with my niece and my nephew. And I read a lot. I got tons of books. In my 20s I did a lot of traveling. Every time you turned around, I was flying somewhere, doing something, appearing somewhere in some club. Once you hit 30, you kind of just want to just chill. It’s all about relaxing and just spending time with family.
I’m real close to my mom and my sisters, so we’re together all the time. We’ve go on adventures, we go camping, we’re going to Disneyland. None of us has ever been so I bought these tickets and everybody’s excited. The kids call me they rich bougie aunt like we’re getting on a jet with champagne. I wish I was rich like that! What the hell?
But bonding with them and watching them grow up, it’s trippy as shit. That’s the highlight of my life. I’m a big family person. I love that. I would do that over anything any day. They’re so fucking cool.
What makes you feel sexy?
Nice lip gloss when or when my hair is like freshly done, and it smells good. I like a fresh clean look, like when you get your eyebrows waxed, eyelashes, when you just get out of the shower with a new soap and you put on lotion that matches it, and you don’t smell it, but then you go out in public and everyone’s like, Damn, you smell good. Little stuff like that, like finding the right like shade of eyeshadow cute sandals. Or you finally put on those shorts that you haven’t put on in a while and they actually fit good. Finding a cute little pair of earrings.

Yeah! I obviously I have to search for nail polish all the time because I go to the nail shop once a week. I go to this warehouse that has millions of colors, and sometimes I’ll sit in there for an hour or two. And the guy that works there knows how I am. I’ll end up with a basket full of different polishes, and when I go to the nail shop, I’ll take one or two with me. The lady will put it on the finished touches and I love it.
